A few days ago, Summit put out a 13 second tease, and now comes a more extensive “first look” teaser for the movie version of Divergent. We previewed this one in our Comic-Con coverage of the Ender’s Game/Divergent panel, where some of the first footage was screened. Now, in a trailer shown on Sunday night’s VMAs on MTV, there’s more with Shailene Woodley as the teen who doesn’t fit in, which, in the world created by novelist Veronica Roth, is a lot more dangerous than normal. The movie, which also stars Kate Winslet, Miles Teller, Theo James, Ashley Judd, Maggie Q, Ray Stevenson, Jai Courtney, Zoe Kravitz, Tony Goldwyn, and Mekhi Phifer, opens on March 21st.

That is KILLER, it seems very spartan as far as the set designs. I was working across the street in a building they in shot front of over Memorial Day weekend. I can’t wait to see the 2.7 seconds of footage they got in the finished product.

Been waiting for it for a while as I worked as an extra on it. Then of course I flash by in a half second in the first scene. Can’t wait to see more.
