Since we’ve already featured Paul F. Tompkins once this week singing the theme from Skyfall, it’s only proper that we spread the love around his family a bit, specifically to his wife Janie Haddad Tompkins, who, in this video, sues PBS to try and reclaim the hosting gig for Masterpiece Classics — meaning Downton Abbey — from Laura Linney.

The video shows her lawyer — bearing a marked similarity to PFT — confronting the director over Janie’s replacement, and there are outtakes from Janie’s work showing that she is, indeed, deserving of said hosting position, followed by a visit from Laura Linney’s — and David Caruso’s — lawyer, who is quite Oswaltian (Patton, not Matt, or Roy, for that matter). Can Laura Linney wield a party noisemaker like Janie can? I should think not. Watch and you will demand that Janie be the host of Downton Handgun… wait, what’s it called again?
