A Five Minute World Tour

Okay, so we show a lot of time lapse videos here, and after a while you get the idea- same music (or so it seems), same darting lights, same everything. But this one’s different, the result of Kien Lam quitting work, packing a bag and heading out to see the world in a year. And taking a camera, which means we have this time-lapse video, with brief scenes from 17 countries over 343 days. From elephants in Thailand to train stations everywhere to the Louvre to restaurants and historic sites and beaches and even Locust Walk on the Penn campus in Philly (okay, so I identify with the familiar), bars and stores and the Vegas strip… this looks like it was one hell of a great trip, and it’s a great video by which to remember it. (And there’s a list of each stop with a little bit about the experience here)
