A Bundle That Is Humble

To me, Christmas means new video games. To some, Christmas means giving to others in need. Now there is a way to combine these two definitions of Christmas, but it will only last a few more days.

Scoot over to HumbleBundle.com for The Humble Indie Bundle #2, a bundle of five amazing indie games. Using the Radiohead model of pay want you want, money is being raised for the Electronic Frontier Foundation and the Child’s Play Charity, as well as supporting the indie game developers. The games supplied for full, DRM free download on Mac, Windows, and Linux include Cortex Command, Machinarium, Osmos, Revenge of the Titans, and Braid.

If you are like me and have managed to never play Braid before downloading this, holy crap. We are stupid idiots. What a great game. They are all great games! Fantastic, creative, and unique-looking games that remind us wonderful gaming visuals don’t have to be reaching for reality.

Want to know where your money is going? No problem, you choose. You can dedicate your donation however you want. Give it all to one if you’d like, or cave into Obama’s socialist agenda and spread the donation out evenly. It’s your choice. Just make sure to donate.

One more tidbit, you can give them as a gift. Pretty sweet gift if you ask me.

Snatch up The Humble Indie Bundle #2 quick. The sale expires Tuesday, December 21st.

Psst. I’m on Twitter.

  2. Brett Dreher says:

Yup, I’m going to be that guy that points out that December 21st is not Thursday, just might want to edit that 🙂

  3. Ryan says:

    BTW, This deal is fan-fucking-tastic.
P.S – I did $4.00 to Childs Play, and $1.99 to EFF, The Five Games, and A Humble tip. Thank you Matthew for this incredibleness.

I have been reading the blog posts on this site for a while now and have observed the complete and utter nonexistence of douchy, “First” comments. I, personally, am appalled by this, because lets face it, without those, there would be no internet. So I will break this trend and say, FIRST!!!!!!
