A Bunch of New VERONICA MARS Goodies Just Dropped

The world has heard your cries for more, more, more, Marshmallows. And one magazine — Entertainment Weekly — was brave enough to deliver with a bevy of Veronica Mars goodies as we grow ever closer to the cult TV series’ cinematic premiere. The series and film’s creator, Rob Thomas, was so excited about the news that Kristen Bell and Jason Dohring were set as the magazine’s cover stars that he quickly emailed the cover out to the Kickstarter backers of the series’ big screen adaptation.

“At the end of yesterday’s update, I told you that we’d have something fun to share with you later in the week,” explained Thomas. “As it turns out, later came sooner than I was expecting.”

The cover, it turns out, is a big deal and long time coming in the eyes of Thomas: “Ten years after Veronica Mars first appeared on television, and eight years after getting canceled, we’ve finally landed the cover story in Entertainment Weekly. … It’s an exciting moment for all of us, and one that we wanted to share with you.”

Though the full article won’t be available until EW hits the newsstands on Friday, the magazine did come correct. Not only did they provide fans with a clip of Kristen and Jason from their photoshoot (complete with a role reversal re-read of an old season two episode), but also some brand new footage from the film itself. The latter video shows Veronica (Bell) getting feisty with her father Keith (Enrico Colantoni) over which profession is worse — lawyer or private detective — before her friends Wallace (Percy Daggs III) and Mac (Tina Majorino) show up with a surprise destination: their high school reunion. As each second ticks by, we grow closer still to the big premiere, and this time it won’t just be all of Neptune that’s invested.

What do you think of the clips and cover? Excited for Veronica Mars? Let us know in the comments.

I have been waiting for this for so long, all I want is for it to be released in Ireland.
I almost don’t even mind how far away!
    … Almost.
Sooner is definitely better than later.

Having read this all I can hope for is a possible podcast with Rob Thomas or anyone in the cast really
