7 Things You Missed in the New GAME OF THRONES Trailer

Did you see yesterday’s epic Game of Thrones trailer? If not—what the heck are you doing in this post?! Go watch it right now—don’t worry, we’ll wait here.

We all good? Great. The Song of Ice and Fire‘s televised iteration is heading into its sixth season starting April 24, and HBO’s latest trailer for the tale gave us 1,000 Valyrian steel blades worth of magical glimpses into what’s to come. From the very dead Jon Snow (har har har), to Dany’s ring-based breadcrumbs, and even a Faith Militant or two, there’s a lot to discuss—and a lot you may have missed, too. Which is why we’re breaking down the things you may have missed in today’s Nerdist News.

With the Bolton boys getting their battle on—complete with a flayed mannis that may or may not be everyone’s favorite now-dead king, Stannis—to Dany’s arrival at Vaes Dothrak, the glimpses of non-blind Arya, a possible flashback (!) to the Tower of Joy (!!), Bran’s Night’s King-filled vision, and the arrival of Euron Greyjoy and the Iron Island Kingsmoot, there’s heaps to break down. So what are you waiting here for? Join Jessica Chobot as we discuss these cool revelations and squeeze every last drop of analysis out of every frame of this season six trailer, on today’s Nerdist News.

Thanks for watching today’s show! In case you missed it, check out the latest episode of The Dan Cave where Dan Casey is talking about the Best Worst alternate movie endings. We’ve also got a brand spankin’ new Team Nerdist sketch called, “Scooby Don’t” up on the Verizon Go90 app. And, keep an eye on Jessica Chobot’s Facebook and Twitter this weekend! She’ll be at SXSW and in addition to hosting panels and interviews for Nerdist, she’ll be sharing exclusive updates from Capital One House at Antone’s. Follow along at #CapitalOneHouse.

Let us know in the comments if you think we missed anything from this Game of Thrones trailer. Are any of our theories wildly off-base? Do you want to see a “Teen Bran” spin-off sitcom kind of like Boy Meets World? Let us know in the comments below.
