Yes, we all love Space Jam, from the delightful film, to the insanely listenable soundtrack (“If I hit ’em high, hit ’em high, hit ’em high…“), to the time-capsule that is its still operating website.Â
Apparently we (the cool kids) are not alone in our affection for all things Jam, as Yahoo! and Sketchy have posted this super clever mockumentary, looking back at the beloved movie as if it were an important sports game (like those docs that ESPN is known to play… people tell me. I like cartoons).
Honestly… this is pretty genius, and definitely deserves a watch, my monstar friends.
What other classic cartoons would you love to see get the “looking back” treatment? A Josie and the Pussycats: Behind the Music? Casper Celebrity Ghost Stories? The possibilities are endless.
