SXSW has just announced its comedy line-up for the 2014 festival (March 8th-15th), and it’s a doozy. Having already announced a great round of comedy panels and screenings of Wes Anderson’s The Grand Budapest Hotel and Seth Rogen’s Neighbors, plus the Harmontown documentary, the performing lineup spans decades of great comedy from The Meltdown with Jonah and Kumail that grew up in our very own Nerdist backyard all the way to comedy legend Bill Cosby.
In fact, there’s so much of this line-up that are connected to Nerdist in one way other, whether it be through performing at our live space the NerdMelt Showroom like Denver’s The Grawlix or having a podcast on our network like You Made It Weird with Pete Holmes or something we’re just absolutely excited about like The Chris Gethard Show.
This comedy awesomeness is, of course, on top of the music and film portion of the festival for which SXSW got its notoriety. So, you should probably buy a SXSW badge now, but you can take a look at the line-up first, then be sorry that you hesitated, and then go buy a badge.
