Are you a James Bond nerd? He’s back:
Skyfall is the latest in the franchise, with Daniel Craig back for more as 007. The new trailer does some word association, leading to a series of quick shots from the movie that don’t tell you much but promise plenty of action. Things get blowed up.
What’s it about? Not sure. Javier Bardem’s the villain, Judi Dench is back as M, and in the trailer, Bond says, “Some men are coming to kill us. We’re going to kill them first.” I guess that’s all we need to know. And does it really matter? 007 fans will go regardless of specific plot, and, historically, the plots are secondary to the action, anyway.
And you? In a year of blockbusters, will you make room for this one?
Maybe Bond was under some kind of mind control/brainwashing before “Skyfall” happened? He murdered the people who ended up in those coffins, and now he tries to get back at the person (Bardem) who had him under control, “without any helpGhostProtocol”?
Oh yes. I will watch this. I’ve seen every Bond film ever made. Including the black and white made for TV “Casino Royal” where Jimmy Bond was an American CIA agent.
Looking forward to this one. The trailer is’nt very impressive though.
