As has been discussed ad nauseum at this point, the world of The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild is huge. It’s so big, in fact, that it contains 900 Korok seeds! If you’re not familiar, the seeds can be given to Hestu in exchange for more space in your inventory. 900 is a lot of anything to collect, but one player, who posts on Reddit as xFateAwaitsx, discovered what happens when you collect them all, so beware the spoilers ahead (via IGN).
xFateAwaitsx recorded his encounter with Hestu after collecting all 900 seeds and posted it on Twitter. When approaching Hestu, the character says, “Hey! Guess what! All of the forest children returned to Korok Forest! You must have had an army of people searching for them, huh?” When you answer, “Nope, just me,” Hestu responds, “NO WAY! Fwahahahaha! NAAAAAAAAICE! You’ve maxed out all your stashes! So let me give you this!”

Then you receive the item Hestu’s Gift, which looks like a tightly wound coil of golden poop. The item’s description backs up that observation: “A gift of friendship given to you by Hestu. It smells pretty bad.” After you put the item away, Hestu says, “So? Do you like it? I hope you’ll still visit me. You can watch me dance whenever you want!”
Do we like it? We suppose it’s like when your cat brings you a dead mouse: It means well and we appreciate the gesture, but why would we want a dead mouse, or in this case, a poop trophy? If anything, it’s proof that everything in Breath of the Wild is worth exploring, because it’ll probably lead to at least a neat surprise like this.
