You May Not Want to Watch ORPHAN BLACK’s First 4 Minutes (But You Can)

We’re about to go doooooooown the rabbit hole, Orphan Black fans—so don’t say we didn’t warn you. Because if you really, truly want to continue to live your life free of seriously major spoilers, you should 100% wait a week and maybe not watch the first four minutes of the series that were released out into the world on Thursday. Because so much happens in these first four minutes—minutes that are so different from previous seasons they’re sure to make you lose your shit—it may make the next week literally impossible to get through.

OK? You still want to do this? Are you suuuuuure? Like really, really super sure? Alright fine, we’ll play ball (but only because we’ve seen the first three episodes so we’ve already done been spoiled). But again, don’t say we didn’t warn you!

First thing’s first: holy Beth Childs, batman! And the return of BDP from the dead! And M.K. trailing creepy grave-digging EMT lovers! And that creepy weird sticker! This can only mean one thing, you guys: when Graeme and John and the cast of the show tease that we have to “go back to go forward,” we’re literally going back—as in flashback.

It’s a long-overdue turn for the series—to look at where it all began and see what it is, exactly, that Beth Childs knew about the clone operation before she passed. And new clone M.K. plays a major part in that. We saw Tatiana shoot a scene as M.K. while we were up in Toronto on a set visit and trust us when we say that she holds so much more information than you even realize.

But let’s not get ahead of ourselves. We’ve got tons of videos rolling out over the next week in anticipation and celebration of the upcoming fourth season. Until we get there, though, check out our interview with the cast from SDCC last year:

What do you think of the new footage? Let us know in the comments below.
