You Made It Weird #84: Jay Larson

Jay Larson (Comedy Central, The Late Late Show, CD “Self Diagnosed”) is one of Pete’s absolute favorite people in the world and hands-down a spectacular guest to make things weird. They talk gnomes, comedy, gnomes, marriage, and a little bit more about gnomes. Holy shit! Hilarious. Weird. A delight. It’s a good one folks. Please enjoy, you weirdos!!

  1. Milks Up says:

They’re not pine coins they are pinapples in the vatican

  2. northwest says:

Whenever Pete says sweetheart in that boston accent, I tend to swoon. Never felt that way with the eastern accents haha. 1:27:43 <3

  3. Nicole says:

more love needs to be expressed for Pete falling back into a Boston accent so much in this podcast. I do it too, when I talk to people with a stronger accent than mine. makes me feel at home.

  4. Why doesn’t God want me to find awesome Gnome books in the public library while shrooming and this Normal Joe…

  5. Ryan says:

Seriously one of your best Pete!

  6. dirk Marshall says:

Oh man, the image of Pete dipping cashews in Marshall’s Haute Sauce is genius. Does anyone make smoked habanero bbq cashews? They should.

  7. Zach says:

Can’t wait for the possible bonus movie eps. You Made It Loves Movies?

  8. DrAwkward says:

    Six syllables are too many!

    LasAcc = Laser accuracy

  9. Travesty says:

Haha, your Bill Burr impression had me rolling. I don’t think I’ve ever heard anybody do a Bill Burr impression. And I gotta agree, while I like Louis CK, I think I like Burr just a little bit more.

  10. mitchell b says:

why hasnt matt mccarthey been on ?

  11. farleyk says:

I’ve been meaning to ask, are the times posted on these part of the crispitudinal weirdness? If so, bravo. If not, I still like it.

  12. actionjohnsen says:

You are accurately describing Cornell West, Pete.

  13. jimjim says:

hehe, Pete your Eddie Murphy impression sounds like Sloth from the Goonies. Never stop doing Cosby, it cracks me up so much. ROO-DEEEE

  14. JSL says:

Really funny/interesting episode (I love two+ hour episodes!) Also, YES to Pete doing The Crabfeast. I need to hear Pete and Ryan Sickler laughing together.

  15. KC says:

    F@$k the Crabfeast.

    5 stars

  16. Phil says:

I bet that “Old Women’s Syndrome” is just a reaction to infrasound mixed with waking up confused and sleepy. Or infrasound + mild heart attack?

  17. Roman says:

It’s quite concerning that he thinks that “atheists” don’t believe in anything. This is a common misconception by people who still don’t understand that atheism is just a stance on one specific issue (whether or not a god(s) exist). It’s like saying someone who doesn’t believe in leprechauns has no world view other than there being no leprechauns.

I am an atheists which is based on my skepticism, and secular humanism is a good description of my world view.

Please read the wiki if you want to know more, it is quite informative.

  18. Geoff says:

It must be carryover from the Jason Mantzoukas episode

  19. jamison says:

…and how did i get tickets to your (and kumail’s) moody theater show?

  20. jamison says:

whoa… where did that accent come from

  21. Joe says:

haha the weirdest part about this one was how Pete had to match Jays boston accent everytime he heard it.
