A special double episode: It’s a live show from JFL Toronto 2014 with Joe DeRosa, DeAnne Smith, Johnny Pemberton, and Brody Stevens! Then Brody returns for a one-on-one at the end!

I was eating a fried egg when they said “Over somes”. I almost died choking on fried egg. 10/10 I’d choke on fried egg again.
One of the worst comedians out there, Brody Stevens ruined the podcast for me…
my new band name…The Scissor Incident
Sneaky Bites is better
I was at the taping of this episode and being there live, especially for this one, better illuminated two things that were already evident: 1) Pete Holmes is a great host because he’s extremely witty and can make anything funnier 2) He’s also a better host than many because he knows the difference between keeping things comical and when something should be addressed to promote a safe and open space for everyone. I really respected how he handled the scissors story on stage and then even more so with his follow up.
I love the way your mind works Pete! One of my favourite comics and a highlight of my JFL14/2014-so glad I got to see the stand-up and show live(too bad I couldn’t meet you too)! š
“I wonder if he means ole Ben No-pants?” made me laugh for five minutes straight.
What Pete wants is the Point-of-View-Gun from “Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy”.
Pete! YMIW is my favorite podcast!! š Keep it going! š I have a humble suggestion for a future guest: Jonathon Taylor Thomas, my inner 12 year old would LOVE to listen to him and you chat!!! š
Love how you tackle real life issues Peetey. My cousin and I religiously listen to you and say, “We listen to Pete because its cheaper than therapy.” Thanks for making life realistic, and the socially imparing issues that we have human and irrelevant.
This one definitely went Weird in the middle, but I think it was worth it for the thoughtful discussion in the second half. Kudos for bringing Brody back for that, Pete. The podcast would have ended on a strangely uncomfortable note if you hadn’t.
Love the format! Also one of the funniest episodes in a while. Gonna go in for a second helping. Free podcast.
I also told my younger brother to pee himself on the bus ride home from elementary school.
