Jesus, he sure hates the Bush family. They weren’t my favorite presidents, but give it a rest. Evidently, he doesn’t think we’re more fucked up now since the current CinC has a (D) after his name.

  5. Gabe says:

to petes opening comments about not being able to find his stuff on the nerdest site … its not just you … this site is overly complicated to navigate.

  6. Gimli says:

Just in case anyone wants to peep the Onion article that Patton referenced as one of his hardest laughs:
    http://www.theonion.com/articles/visiting-gore-calls-pennsylvania-a-hellhole,294/

  7. Jessi says:

I’m sitting in my empty office weeping while listening to this podcast. I cannot believe I am hearing these thoughts come from a man. It takes so much effort, strength, and compassion to attempt to understand these concepts. Trying to understand the experience of any other person is one of the most difficult feats and to even try is incredible. As soon as you contemplated the chance that you might not listen to your wife as well as you could because she’s female, you became a superhero in my mind. Even if you disregard that thought as bullshit eventually, to consider the possibility and what that would mean, takes shocking strength of character.

  8. Great Scott says:

    2 words: hot topic!
