Pete sits down with his goofy goof friend Chris D’Elia (Whitney, comedy) to talk about how comedy can be silly, goofy and a third word that means silly or goofy, as well as some real deep shit about psychology and crazy comedy thoughts for real. It’s VERY crispy in there, weirdos. Be careful.

Good episode. I actually didn’t know Chris was a stand-up comedian; thought he was just a really funny actor since Whitney was my first exposure to him. I need to track down his White Man Black Comic set now.
Great to hear Chris not in stand-up or Ten Minute Pod persona. I always seem to magically forget that a screen or stage presence is just a manufactured act to have a desired effect, so it’s sometimes refreshing to hear that they’re actually very different – in this case much more humble, shy, reserved than I thought; which I respect.
Plus it’s touchg to hear him talk about his friend Bryan Callen, cos if you listened to Ten Minute Pod and were a gullible like me, you might think there was some genuine dislike there. I guess they’re just very good actors.
So all in all really Interesting interview – thanks. I love your style of interviewing Pete – your fantastic laugh and joviality conceal a lot of knowledge and wisdom.
Saw you at UP in Chicago! Nice work sir!!!!
The laid back and relaxed feeling is great and the honesty in the discussion is incredible. I look forward to learning new things about Pete each episode as much as I do the guests.
Great get. I’ve become such a fan of Chris’s that if I don’t see his name on the lineup at the Comedy Store, I don’t bother going in. His riffs that are at least as funny as his written stuff, and every audience I’ve seen of his has loved being “pulled.”
The murder fantasy/infomercial/sober stuff was very surprising to learn. I bet there was more to that if Pete had asked about his family.
Btw, Chris’s repeated phrase that Pete couldn’t remember is “we made iiitttt!”
hey i am mormon and this is my favorite podcast! haha
OMG the coffee thing had me cracking up I feel the same way about coffee I drink it everyday and I really dont even like it.
yesssss! it’s pretty f’in crispy if you ask me.
“why would I go camping? We built all this sh*t for a reason”
Another great episode Peter. Another great episode.
