You Can’t Even Touch Tom Hardy’s Dubsmash Game

If you have been paying attention to Dubsmash for the past few months, you’ve probably been watching the face 0ff between cast members of Agent Carter and Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.. However, in the immortal words of Master Yoda: There is another…Dubsmasher. His name is Tom Hardy, and he is fantastic.

As if the world needed to be reminded why they should love the Hardy boy from Hammersmith, Tom has been flexing his lip sync skills across the internet, hitting virtually every genre of music. Through the use of costumes, props, and with occasional help from his regular stunt double Jacob Tomuri or one of his beloved dogs, Hardy stands in a class all his own. What’s even better is that it was Tomuri that started the Dubsmash video journey and happened to bring Hardy along with him. Talk about a show stealer.

The Mad Max star has jumped all across time and genre with renditions of Whitney Houston, Cyprus Hill, Queen, Simon and Garfunkle, 50 Cent, The Bee Gees, The Wu Tang Clan, and even tunes from Grease and Annie.  For a man who has proved himself more than capable of playing a tough-as-nails badass, it is especially endearing to just see him having fun goofing around with his cellphone. It’s not like Tom Hardy needed any kind of PR boost, this doesn’t feel like a viral market campaign for anything, just a chill dude having some chill dude fun.

Check out the rest of Jacob Tomuri’s videos, many of which feature Hardy, over on YouTube, and let us know your favorite in the comments below!
