Following Hulu, Amazon, and Netflix, the next class of original content producers might very well be gaming consoles. Xbox has just announced a full slate of original series that are set to be released this Summer, and this could very well be the next step for gaming consoles, as I’m sure PlayStation isn’t going to let this move go unanswered.

Getting top billing on the Xbox list are series from Seth Green and Michael Cera & Sarah Silverman. Green will be producing a series akin to his long running stop motion animated series at Adult Swim, Robot Chicken, while Cera and Silverman will be curating a JASH sketch show. Much like traditional television, these series will be presented “upfronts style” to attract advertisers, which will be intriguing to see.

I’m also interested to see how far Silverman, Cera, and Green will get to go in regards to censors. Luckily, Summer is just around the corner.
