X-MEN: APOCALYPSE Gets Its Own LEGO Trailer

Everything they’ve built will fall! And from the ashes of their world, we’ll build a better one! With LEGOs. We will use LEGOs to literally build a better world. They were using stupid Lincoln Logs. It’s like, what are you even doing? Humans, am I right?

I think LEGO Apocalypse might be a little too on the nose for my tastes…

Actually, this is just anther great LEGO trailer (which we must now have for every big movie that comes out—they passed a law or something) for the newest X-Men movie, put together by the talented folks at Toscano Bricks.

I’m consistently amazed at the quality of these trailers. Yeah, painting a LEGO person to look like their real life counterpart might not seem all that hard (though I certainly couldn’t do it), but the recreation of the special effects are always incredible. The shot here with the street being ripped apart somehow looks more impressive when done in LEGOs than in the real footage.

Of course it is impossible to watch one of these LEGO trailers without needing to compare it to the original one, so you can watch the actual trailer this is based on right here.

Honestly, I think LEGO Apocalypse looks way cooler and intimidating than the actual film version. Even made of plastic he somehow looks more believable.

X-Men: Apocalypse opens in theaters next week, May 18.
