WRECK-IT RALPH 2 First Trailer Sends Us into the Horrifying Internet

Today is Wreck-It Ralph‘s first day on the internet, and he’s already broken a mobile game! Disney’s unlikely video game villain-turned-hero is coming back to theaters this fall in Ralph Breaks the Internet: Wreck-It Ralph 2. And in the very first teaser trailer, Ralph’s frenemy, Fix-It Felix, Jr., is nowhere to be seen, which may make it difficult for anyone to repair the damage left in Ralph’s unintended wake. As you can see in the new clips, Ralph is a destructive force of nature even when he’s trying to be good.

Ralph Breaks the Internet takes place six years after the original Wreck-It Ralph, and it looks like business at the Litwak’s arcade is starting to slow down. The trailer features the moment that the arcade’s owner brings his collection of classic games online, which allows Ralph and Vanellope von Schweetz to travel the ‘net in search of a part to fix her broken game, Sugar Rush. Along the way, the duo find themselves distracted by an eBay painting and an unfortunate turn of events with the aforementioned mobile game.

Beyond that, the teaser is pretty light on story details. The video doesn’t even hint at the hilarious scene previewed at last year’s D23, which featured Vanellope’s encounter with all of the Disney princesses. And that’s just the beginning of some of the wild cameos that will be included in this sequel.

Ralph Breaks the Internet: Wreck-It Ralph 2 will smash its way into theaters on November 21.
