Finally, confirmation on the many rumors arrived at BlizzCon today, as Blizzard pulled back the curtain on the fifth World Of Warcraft expansion. Warlords of Draenor is adding a level cap increase to 100, new character models, garrison building/upgrading, and the ability to progress a character to level 90, and the brand new world of Draenor. The new expansion is said to challenge players by facing them off against “a savage enemy with no remorse.”
May the messy keyboards of Blizzard fans everywhere remain resilient through these tough times, as Blizzard is dropping all of their bombs today. First they pull their MOBA wildcard, Heroes of the Storm, out of their deck and now, an new World of Warcraft chapter. It didn’t take very long for BlizzCon 2013 to prove that it’s serious business.
I love Blizzard. I’m really excited about the expansion. Now that I have my weekends back, I look forward to getting back into W0W!
@Nikki – They did word it badly, but what they mean is – when you purchase Warlords, you get an instant level raise to 90 on one character. Again, they worded it poorly, but that’s what they meant.
Level cap of 100 is inconsistent with the following statement of progress a character to level 90, which is already possible. You may want to fix that.
