If anyone thought for even a second that the upcoming season of NBC’s creepy-cool drama, Hannibal, would be anything other than explosive, think again. The second season is mere days away and the folks over at Entertainment Weekly have a preview with an epic fight scene between Hannibal Lecter (Mads Mikkelsen) and the FBI’s main dude Jack Crawford (Laurence Fishburne). Looks like the Bryan Fuller drama is going for the gut — or in this case, the carotid artery.
Not only is the scene a riveting one — turns out it’s the opening sequence of the season, which begs the question: how in the ever-loving shit did we go from season one’s finale — where we found FBI profiler Will Graham (Hugh Dancy) behind bars for crimes Dr. Lecter himself committed — to season two’s jump-off point. Guess we’ll just have to wait until Friday, February 28th at 10PM to be served some answers. After all: Lecter loves himself a devilishly good dinner party, and it seems we’re in for quite the digestible opus.

OMG amazing. I really hope they explain why! Hannibal and Jack are fighting. If they don’t and it’s all weird the rest of the season… that’s probably going to turn off a lot of viewers.
