  3. victor says:

It started a world movement! in 2 weeks, I saw video from Copenhagen to Lisbon and Sao Paulo.

  4. Thomas L says:

I’m just glad to hear Sinatra was on this vid šŸ™‚

  5. Katie B says:

I love this!! I’ve always wanted someone to ask me. In college it would’ve been Weird Al and now I would totally be the woman listening to Fresh Air (Or Nerdist!).

  6. This needs to become a thing. “What are you listening to?” across America. Across the world!

  7. Its not New York until you know at least one person is listening to Frank Sanatra

  8. e. says:

I just found your website, podcast, twitter – blah, blah, blah
Had been seeing you more & more on Chelsea Handler & finally remembered to google you! Great posts – sharing your goodies left & right – hoping to spread the Hardwick fun around to others apparently under a rock like myself! ;-P

  9. @sybarite_ says:

no one was listening to the nerdist podcast? wtf?? =)

  10. I totally agree with you, Agrajag.

  11. holt says:

The NPR lady is my sister-in-law! Wow, small Nerdist world.

  12. holt says:

I think the NPR lady is my sister-in-law!

  13. Tim says:

How many people were lying because they were embarassed to let on who they were really listening to? The world may never know.

  14. Taryn says:

So cool! I really want to repeat this on the college campus where I work. The town is populated entirely by three groups: college students, hippies, and rural living country loving folks so it should be interesting.

  15. Hurricane Ditka says:

LMAO @ lady listening to NPR!!!!

To the girls who try to avoid the camera, GROW UP and quit acting so snoody!

    All in all, GREAT VIDEO

  16. Agrajag says:

@ Captain Barbosa, why do people listen to bad music? The short answer is, they don’t. They’re listening to music that they like, and that you don’t. “Good” music and “bad” music are fully subjective ideas, and thank Bob nobody gets to set the standard for anybody else.

  17. Art says:

This is the very reason I spend the entire time listening to a song thinking “Wow, i’m totally listening to Radiohead right now. This is cool. Hey, Arcade Fire! Sweet, I love Arcade Fire”

  18. Coconutphone says:

That’s awesome. I know I often want someone to ask me šŸ™‚

  19. Cathy says:

What? No Frank Turner or Tim Minchin? What is this world coming to?

  20. Phil says:

The rasta guy is listening to Bob Marley ?!?!?! (fake disbelief) Awesome video.

  21. wade says:

Some of their examples were very funny, like the girl listening to Kanye West, or the old dude listening to Lady Gaga. Funny. I did laugh at lot at the lady listening to NPR.

  22. David says:

    Great song, great band. Oasis!!!!!

  23. Kate says:

I know I’m one of those people who has to think about it when out of the blue some one asks me my name, or is that just me?

  24. This video made me ask some questions to myself..
Why didn’t I think of this first?
I didn’t know Fred Durst liked Oasis?
Was that Machete on the bike??
Stereotype Rasta, is it Halloween yet?
Why do people listen to bad music?

  25. Maria says:

    Oasis… yeaaaaah =)

  26. Francisco says:

    @Darren
sort of agree. but I understand why.
I put lots of songs on my phone or mp3 player all the time and sometimes I don’t know the exact name of the track. I can definitely tell you artist name right away though.

  27. Darren says:

I find it funny that a majority of these people have to actually stop and look at their iPod…
