WeLoveFine and Marvel Release Comic Book Cover T-Shirts

If you spend enough time haunting exhibit halls at conventions, you’ll quickly notice there is no shortage of comic book t-shirts. You can find graphics featuring your favorite heroes and villains, symbols, and logos. However, there is a hole–it’s difficult to find tees with modern comic book covers. Vintage designs are available in spades, but shirts with current covers are almost impossible to come by. WeLoveFine’s been working on changing that though.

WeLoveFine has teamed up with Marvel for the Comic Cover T-Shirt Program. They take recent comic book covers, put ’em on a t-shirt, and sell them in a limited run for one week. New designs are launched every Wednesday, the same day new comic books are released. Some examples from the May 4 release include Spider-Gwen #8 and Daredevil Punisher #1–both these comics also debuted on May 4.

You can see more t-shirts from this week’s release in the gallery below and some additional designs at WeLoveFine. The tees are priced lower than WeLoveFine’s regular stock; you can pick them for $15/each. They’re available in men’s and women’s sizes.

As you shop the tops, you’ll notice there’s a handy link to learn more about each title on Marvel. I think this could be a cool way to introduce people to more comics. Maybe someone will see snazzy art on the shirts and be inspired to learn more. Wouldn’t that be neat?

Have you purchased any shirts through the Comic Cover T-Shirt Program? Are there any upcoming issues you hope they include? Let me know in the comments.
