‘Weird Al’ Will Get Tacky For Three Nights When The Simpsons Take The Hollywood Bowl

D’oh yah! “Weird Al” just took to twitter to announce that he will be performing all three nights when The Simpsons take the Hollywood Bowl September 12-14 in Los Angeles. #EverySimpsonsEver has now officially transcended hashtag territory and turned into a full-fledged Beatlemania-style pop culture phenomenon.

Hosted by Hank Azaria, The Simpsons Take The Bowl will feature the Hollywood Bowl Orchestra playing along to both selected and unreleased scenes from the show’s 25 seasons as well as live performances from a number of special guests including Conan O’Brien, Jon Lovitz, creator Matt Groening, and our dear pal, “Weird Al.”

Yankovic has appeared on The Simpsons twice throughout the history of the show and is slated for his third guest starring role in the 26th season. Hopefully The Billboard-topping singer will a get chance to sing “Tacky” with Bart in a White Stripes-style face off. For his live performance, we’re expecting no less than three accordion-driven polka medleys about the folks of Springfield.

If Al’s Super Bowl petition works out, then that would make our favorite parodist the official king of all Bowls, hopefully necessitating a Bruce Springsteen parody called “Bowl In The USA”. We’re waiting, Al.

What do you guys think Weird Al’s performance will entail when he takes the stage with The Simpson September?
