For those of you that may have been living under a rock for the past few months: “Weird Al” Yankovic has joined the team over on IFC’s televised iteration of Scott Aukerman‘s Comedy Bang! Bang! And now, thanks to those same folks, you can watch the whole season five premiere episode right here, right MEOW. How’s that for service with a smile, eh?
In the episode itself, we see Scott take something that doesn’t belong to him (only to have it all go horribly awry when he ends up harrassed by a mythical creature—a very minor-inconveniencing evil leprechaun—for his doings), and Kevin Bacon discuss city planning for KevinTown, his new city he’s building (as he does), where the main industry is FUN! (Hooray!). Plus—no spoilers— there’s “a special appearance by a very famous actor,” which is as exciting as you want it to be (psst it’s totally Leonardo DiCaprio). They even play the game Six Degrees of Kevin Bacon, in order to connect him to the one actor he’s never been connected to in the history of the game (TWIST)!
There’s so much whimsy and silly meta comedy to be had in the episode, so you should 100% stop reading these words that we were paid medium bucks to write, in order to just take it all in.
