Watch the Musical Evolution of The Disney Princesses

79 years ago, Walt Disney’s Snow White became the first of the Disney Princesses, an ongoing animated tradition that continues to the present day. To pay homage to that tradition, YouTube singer Evynne Hollens has created a new video in which she assumed the roles of 14 Disney princesses while singing a medley of their most famous signature songs.

Starting with Snow White and ending with Anna and Elsa from Frozen, Hollens cosplayed as all of the Disney Princesses in costumes that were created by Ella Dynae. Fifgen Films edited the video while Nathan Alef created the musical arrangement and the orchestration of the classic and modern Disney tunes. But it’s Hollens’ vocal performance that really carries the video. She managed to deliver fantastic takes on all of the songs.

“I’ve been working on this for almost five months now,” wrote Hollens on her Patreon page. “I’m so thrilled to have been able to do this…I truly hope you enjoy it, and THANK YOU! I couldn’t have done this without your support. I truly was able to live my Princess dreams with this one!”

“This is just the beginning,” said Hollens at the end of her video. “I would love to do full versions of these songs and show off these gorgeous costumes…So let me know who’s your favorite princess and what full songs do you want to hear next.”

Hollens regularly releases music videos on YouTube, and you can check out her channel here.
