Watch the Full Her Universe SDCC Fashion Show PLUS a Gallery of Designs

This summer, Her Universe put on its first fashion show at San Diego Comic-Con, an inspiring event that brought 36 designers together to create an eclectic collection of gorgeous geek couture. With pieces inspired by fandom favorites like Doctor Who, Star Wars, and Marvel, the fashion show brought a diverse crowd of designers, fans, and celebrity judges together to celebrate creativity and nerd fashion. And now, for the first time ever, you can watch the entire event, right here on Nerdist!

We partnered with Her Universe and Hot Topic to put on the show back in July, and now it’s our pleasure to share the full show — plus a gallery of exclusive photos — with you today. Her Universe founder Ashley Eckstein hosted the event, and worked with Espionage Cosmetics, the show’s official make-up partner. The panel of celebrity judges included comedy sister duo (and members of the Nerdist Alliance!) The Hillywood Show‘s Hilly and Hannah Hindi, Justine Ezarik a/k/a iJustine, Heroes of Cosplay’s Chloe Dykstra, Hot Topic Senior VP of Merchandising and Marketing, Cindy Levitt, renewed designer and author Tara Tarantino, Tara Sinclair (Lucasfilm Senior Manager, Softlines) and Lacey Prince (Lucasfilm Product Development head for soft lines, fashion, and accessories). In short, some of the best names in fangirl fashion today.

The winners were given the opportunity to work on a whole new Her Universe line that will be sold in Hot Topic stores. For more about the event and the show’s two winners, check out Rachael Berkey’s initial recap of the fashion show here. Once you’ve finished watching the entire, 90-minute fashion show in the video above, we’ve got an exclusive gallery of some of the show’s designs! We’ve also partnered with The Mary Sue to bring you all the looks from the night’s festivities, so make sure you head over there for their gallery of designs, too!
