If you’ve seen your share of interviews with the cast of The Flash then one thing is clear — the folks who populate Central City are a fun and talented bunch. Jesse L. Martin, Carlos Valdes, and Tom Cavanagh alone are veteran stage performers who know how to command an audience, while star Grant Gustin demonstrated his skills on Glee before headlining the CW’s hit superhero show. Thankfully, they all get a chance to shine in a sidesplitting new blooper reel that’s sure to be the highlight of the The Flash: The Complete First Season Blu-ray (due out on September 22nd). “Even your farts smell good.” Good one, Iris. And who’d have thought Dr. Caitlin Snow would turn out to have such a foul mouth. Barry has some dance moves to match the vocal chops he demonstrated in the show’s karaoke episode, and exhibits some heretofore unseen sexual tension with the Pied Piper. While Dr. Wells’ wheelchair apparently proved to be as tricky behind the scenes as any of the show’s sterling special effects. And kudos to Cisco for inventing the word “natrical.” There’s even an outtake from upcoming spinoff show Legends of Tomorrow‘s trailer! Now if only I can get that “sausages” joke of my head…
