Vinnie D is rewarding his faithful fans for their devotion once more, by debuting the very first full trailer for the upcoming xXx: The Return of Xander Cage on his Facebook page. This time around, Diesel’s titular extreme sports and tattoo enthusiast-turned-superspy is joined by Deepika Padukone, Donnie Yen, Tony Jaa, Nina Dobrev, Rory McCann, and Samuel L. Jackson. Does director D.J. Caruso have what it takes to revive this long dormant franchise? We’ll find out when the sequel opens on January 20, 2017.

Suicide Squad
Yesterday we showed you a new Suicide Squad promo video focusing on Amanda Waller and Rick Flag. And today we have one showcasing the no-doubt highest paid actor within the cast, Will Smith, and his marksman antihero Deadshot. Bold enough to take on the Batman all by himself in comic books, how will the character fare in his big-screen debut? Chances are the always charismatic Smith will make him a worthy rival for Jared Leto’s Joker…
Power Rangers
Hey, wanna see the new team of Power Ranges in a badass heroic group profile shot? USA Today just unveiled this photo of Dacre Montgomery (a.k.a. Red Ranger Jason), Becky G (as Yellow Ranger Trini), RJ Cyler (as Blue Ranger Billy), Naomi Scott (as Pink Ranger Kimberly), and Ludi Lin (Black Ranger Zack). Together they, and their bizarrely textured new costumes, will try to save the world from the forces of Elizabeth Banks’ Rita Repulsa. Director Dean Israelite’s reboot of the ’90s TV fave opens on March 24, 2017.

Godzilla Resurgence
Finally today, we have a new trailer for Godzilla Resurgence from Japan’s mighty Toho Pictures. While Gareth Edwards’ recent take on the atomic dinosaur has its admirers, for me there’s nothing quite like the homegrown product. Toho’s first Godzilla film since Godzilla: Final Wars in 2004, Resurgence opens in Japan on July 29 and will, if there is any justice at all in this world, get at least a U.S. home video release at some point in the future…
