It’s not just on the Internet that Game of Thrones mania has taken hold: the obsession-status HBO series is also a big deal to the characters on other television shows. Like Ben Wyatt (Adam Scott) of NBC’s Parks and Recreation, who received the ultimate gift from his wife Leslie Knope (Amy Poehler) on Thursday night’s first post-Olympics episode, “Anniversaries.” While it’s true that in the Game of Thrones you either win or you die, we’re fairly sure Ben’s fanboying proved you can also do both simultaneously.

I mean, just look at that face he’s making in the video (skip ahead to 1:38 to watch the whole thing unfold):

Of course fans of the series know that this is hardly the first time GoT — or Ben’s obsession with it — has been featured on the series. In fact he’s not the only fan on the series: Donna Meagle is also ride-or-die for them Dothraki men (but who isn’t, right ladies?):

And who could forget the time Ben called Leslie Khaleesi (which may or may not have sent every nerd girl’s heart aflutter):

So, for anyone curious: Leslie Knope is the ultimate gift giver, and at this point it really isn’t an opinion so much as indisputable fact. Gosh we just love it when our favorite things come together!
