Watch Series Premiere of DOCTOR WHO Online – Updated

Tonight saw the premiere of Doctor Who‘s ninth series. Did I need to tell you that? If you’re reading this article, chances are you’ve seen how much we here at Nerdist (and me specifically) have been hyping. But, we’re certainly aware that not everybody who wants to watch it can do so. A lot of people don’t have BBC America here in the United States, or were out and unable to watch as it aired, and that makes things pretty difficult. Luckily, BBC America has heard the cries of cable-less fandom and has posted “The Magician’s Apprentice” on the internet. FOR FREE.

This isn’t some Dalek double-cross, we assure you. It’s for real. The episode will post to BBC America’s website, Facebook, Tumblr, and to a YouTube playlist. That means, if you missed “The Magician’s Apprentice” on TV, you’re able to watch it right this very second on the interwebs.

UPDATE: I was confused earlier about this. To clarify ONLY “The Magician’s Apprentice” will be and is available to stream for free via these methods. The rest of the series will not be, but it will be available on VOD like always. Sorry for the confusion.

“Where’s the link?!” you impatiently demand. Would I be so callous as to tell you something like this and then withhold the actual way to do it? No, of course not! You can click here for the full episode on BBC America’s website, and right here for full the episode on YouTube. I’ll leave it to you to find the Facebook and Tumblr pages for the network. I’ll lead you to water, but I’m not gonna plug it in for you. Or something.

And as always, throughout the season, new photos will be uploaded here, and new extra videos will be uploaded here. So, now you have no excuse not to be fully up on the brand new series of Doctor Who.
