Disney’s new digital storage service, Disney Movies Anywhere, launched recently, and, besides letting you watch Disney and Pixar films from your computers and devices, you can also view Marvel movies. Using the cloud-based platform comes with perks: Even though Thor: The Dark World is already available on Blu-ray and DVD and has released deleted scenes with the discs, new content is available exclusively on Disney Movies Anywhere.

They’ve teased a clip of the deleted scenes on YouTube. It features Thor putting down his Mjölnir and taking care of business while Loki stands idly by and stays out of the way. Typical. It’s just enticing enough to make me want to see the entire scene. Well played, Disney:

The deleted scenes are part of the “Discover” section of the service. It will feature “never-before-seen and exclusive content, available at no charge for members. Including first looks at new films, behind-the scenes vignettes, music videos, classic shorts from the Disney Archives, and much more.” I created an account on the website and confirmed you don’t have to purchase anything or sync with iTunes to watch videos in the ‘Discover’ section.
