Watch Emma Watson Sing “Belle” in New BEAUTY AND THE BEAST Clip

If you’ve ever yearned for more than your provincial life, you have a kindred spirit in the effervescent Emma Watson, who can be seen singing her character Belle’s signature song from Beauty and the Beast for the very first time in today’s Movie Morsels. Plus, we’ve got a new clip from James Gunn’s The Belko Experiment, word on who might be playing the Big Bad in Wonder Woman, and plenty more for you pretty people…

Beauty and the Beast

As is the case with most film musicals these days, from Tim Burton’s Sweeney Todd to last year’s La La Land, the initial trailers for Disney’s live-action Beauty and the Beast did their very best to hide the fact this is in fact a musical (presumably from folks still dealing with the trauma of their theater experiences in high school). But the film’s latest clip wears its tuneful colors loud and proud, and marks the first time we’ve heard the original animated classic’s “Belle” as sung by star Emma Watson…

Wonder Woman

Okay, file this one under R for “Rumor” until it’s confirmed by Warner Bros., but we have it from a pretty reliable source (a.k.a. Batman News) that Ares, the God of War himself and the main villain in the first-ever Wonder Woman movie will be played by none other than English actor David Thewlis (best known as Professor Lupin in the Harry Potter movies). But again, nothing confirmed.

Here’s the second clip we’ve seen from the blood-soaked Belko Experiment, which has been described as “Battle Royale meets Office Space.”

The Predator

Shane Black is awfully proud to start shooting his eagerly awaited The Predator. So proud, in fact, that the auteur has shared the first-ever photo of the film’s assembled cast, featuring a few faces more than familiar to Nerdist readers, as well as confirmation that the movie will most definitely be rated R. Now, the big question is, which of these folks will be torn apart by our favorite intergalactic alien hunter?
