Watch a Behind-the-Scenes Video with Daniel Craig from the Set of SPECTRE!

Heads up, 007 fans! We’ve got a new video blog direct from the set of the twenty-fourth James Bond film, Spectre, featuring director Sam Mendes and actors Ralph Fiennes (M), Naomie Harris (Ms. Moneypenny), and Ben Whishaw (Q), as well as the dashing Daniel Craig himself. In it, Mendes offers us his motivation for returning to the world of MI6 after his last foray, the 2012 blockbuster Skyfall

“The reasons I’m doing the second Bond movie are the reasons I would do any movie, really, which is all to do with the story. And in this movie, Spectre, what you have is a movie entirely driven by Bond. He is on a mission from the very beginning.. It’s about whether or not to pursue the life he’s always pursued, whether he matters and is he going to continue or not. And you’re going to have to come to see the movie to find out whether he does.”

Here’s the full video, which is also available on 007.com.

And here’s the studio’s official synopsis for Spectre, arriving in theaters on November 6, 2015 and co-starring Monica Bellucci (as Lucia Sciarra), Léa Seydoux (as Madeleine Swann), Andrew Scott (as British politician Denbigh), Dave Bautista (as the henchman Mr. Hinx), and Christoph Waltz (as Bond’s old friend Franz Oberhauser, whom we’re all hoping turns out to be his arch-enemy Ernst Stavro Blofeld): “A cryptic message from Bond’s past sends him on a trail to uncover a sinister organization. While M battles political forces to keep the secret service alive, Bond peels back the layers of deceit to reveal the terrible truth behind SPECTRE.”

Let us know what you think of the video, and whether or not you think Spectre will top Skyfall, below!
