Watch a 7-Foot LEGO Serenity Come Together With the Magic of Time-Lapse

It’s time for some thrilling LEGO heroics! Builder Adrian Drake, a/k/a Brick Frenzy, recently assembled a seven-foot-long LEGO model of Serenity. The beloved ship from the equally adored series Firefly has a special place in our hearts, and this blocky model made from 70,000 bricks is simply beautiful.

It took Drake about 14 months to rebuild Serenity, and he snapped over 4,000 images to make a time lapse video. I think even Jayne would be impressed and touched. Watching Drake build Serenity is mesmerizing. He has more diligence than I, and as you can see in the video, he also has an impressive collection of geeky t-shirts.

After watching that, I want a LEGO reboot of Firefly.

Do you have the patience to piece together a LEGO project this big? Let us know in the comments.
