Warner Bros. Reveals MORTAL KOMBAT X Kollector’s Editions

Ready, Fight!

While it doesn’t look like we’ll be getting another character reveal today, Warner Bros. has announced a couple of super special editions of Mortal Kombat X, all of which include a copy of the game, and are already available for pre-order. As an extra bonus, those who order ahead of time will also receive the playable character Goro.

Although the Kollector’s Edition by Coarse, Kollector’s Edition and Limited Editions will only be for PS4 and Xbox One, the premium edition will be available for all platforms. Each will include the Kombat Pack, which contains four extra, unnamed characters that Warner Bros. teases will be a mix of classic and guest fighters. While I’d be interested to see Freddy Krueger or Kratos make a komeback (heh), a couple of new guests would be cool.

Mortal kombat X kollector's edition

Pictured above is the Mortal Kombat X Kollector’s Edition which is a European import and only available for pre-order on Amazon. This bad boy comes with a hand-painted statue of Scorpion, exclusive steel pack and steel card, the Mortal Kombat X: Blood Ties Comic Book vol 1, an in-game scorpion skin, and the Kombat pack. This is the one you’ll want if you have a bit more to spend as it will cost $179.99.

Next up is the Mortal Kombat X: Kollector’s Edition by Coarse which will retail at a whopping $149.99 and will include an exclusive figurine of Scoprion designed by Coarse, an in-game gold Scorpion skin inspired by the figurine, and the Kombat Pack.

The main appeal of this one is of course the figure redesigned by the Coarse team. Check out the video below for more on the creation process.

The Mortal Kombat X Limited Edition, which you’ll need to fork over $94.99 for, includes an exclusive Scorpion Skin designed by NetherRealm Studios and a fan artist from MKKollective.com and the Kombat Edition. This one is a GameStop exclusive, so if you want it, make haste and order it before they run out.

Last but not least and the cheapest of the bunch at $89.99 is the Mortal Kombat X Premium Edition. This one is download only and includes the Kombat Pack and a full copy of the game.

All of these packs will be releasing April 14, 2015 worldwide alongside the game.
