Earlier this month, Warner Bros. dropped a new trailer for Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, which teased the reveal of a major DC villain and hinted at a threat yet to come. Today, Warner Bros. premiered four different posters for Batman v Superman, with each member of DCâs trinity getting a spotlight image.
First up, Gal Gadotâs Wonder Woman, which she first posted on her twitter account.
Next up? Ben Affleck posted Batman in his Dark Knight Returns inspired costume, which Bruce Wayne has assembled to bring Superman down to Earth and make him bleed.
Finally, Henry Cavill revealed a poster which put the focus back on Superman.
The fourth, fan-made poster (from deviantART user Camw1n) debuted on the twitter account of DCâs Chief Creative Officer Geoff Johns â so you know it must be good â and it features Batman, Superman, and Wonder Woman lined up together, presumably united against the villain who was glimpsed in the trailer.
Batman v Superman will also introduce Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor and Jeremy Irons as Alfred Pennyworth, with Cyborg (Ray Fisher), Aquaman (Jason Momoa), and The Flash (Ezra Miller) all making cameo appearances to set up their own solo films and the two-part Justice League movie.
Man of Steel co-star Amy Adams is also back as Lois Lane alongside Laurence Fishburneâs Perry White and Diane Lane’s Martha Kent. It’s still unclear whom Jena Malone will portray in Batman v Superman, but Carrie Kelly (Robin) and Barbara Gordon (Batgirl) have been the most popular rumors for her role in the film.
Warner Bros. will release Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice on March 25, 2016.
