Von Miller and Josh Norman Play DOOM For Conan O’Brien’s CLUELESS GAMER

The Super Bowl weekend is upon us, and Conan O’Brien is keeping his clueless tradition alive for the big game — two prominent players from each team were invited to join O’Brien’s latest installment of “Clueless Gamer” on Conan.

This year, the Denver Broncos’ Von Miller went head-to-head with the Carolina Panthers’ Josh Norman. Their battleground was Doom, the upcoming reboot of the classic game from id Software and Bethesda. But before the carnage began, O’Brien coaxed Miller into talking about his post-football ambitions. Specifically, Miller wants to open a chicken farm and use a live feed to demonstrate just how happy his birds are (really). O’Brien got a lot of comedic yards out of that by turning it into a mock commercial later in the segment.

While Norman claimed to have had some improv training, all of the funniest moments belonged to Miller. He demonstrated great comedic timing when needling O’Brien over the injuries to his beloved Tom Brady. And Miller’s explanation about the holograms in Doom was an instant classic. By comparison, Norman didn’t even want to try to finish an improv scene with O’Brien.

Because O’Brien doesn’t have much tolerance for graphic video game violence, he called for a wine tasting cooldown twice during the segment. And rather than challenge Miller and Norman, O’Brien brought in a ringer to play for him: Marshawn Lynch of the Seattle Seahawks.

When it finally came time for Miller and Norman to go head-to-head in one of the most challenging parts of Doom, Norman won…in the cheapest way possible. But you’ll have to watch the video to see how he did it.

Who was the better gamer: Miller or Norman? Let us know in the comment section!
