No one is more excited than Vin Diesel about Vin Diesel’s role as Groot in Guardians of the Galaxy. Can you blame the guy? He’s so excited about this movie that he showed up at the London premiere of the movie in the following ensemble and clearly was happier than a kid in the world’s most epic candy store.
New behind-the-scenes footage shows that Diesel’s acting chops extend beyond the American version of the film. He is also responsible for four of the dubbed versions of Groot, including Spanish, Portuguese, French and Russian.

Guardians of the Galaxy opens in US theaters this Friday, August 1st, and we are having loads of fun seeing all the promotion that the stars are doing in anticipation. Just this week, Chris Pratt and Zoe Saldana rang the opening bell in the New York City Stock Exchange before Pratt surprised a group of 250 local kids and their families at a New York City screening that was sponsored by Disney and the New York Daily News. Star-Lord took photos and selfies with every kid in the audience according to reports. Additionally, screenwriter Nicole Perlman is getting great press for being the first female writer credited on a Marvel Studios film.
