Vans is known for their awesome collaborations with various pop culture properties, from Nintendo to Pixar to Marvel. Whoever they partner up with, we’re going to get something great, and they’ve outdone themselves this time with a gorgeous collaboration with one of the world’s most famous artists, Vincent Van Gogh (or, more specifically, The Van Gogh Museum Amsterdam). The new line brings four of his classic paintingsâSkull, Almond Blossom, Sunflowers, and Van Gogh’s self-portrait, as well as his drawing Old Vineyard with Peasant Womanâto life on the classic Vans shoes.
On top of that, they’ll also be available on jackets, backpacks, shirts, and hats.
These designs look beautiful, and should be a fitting tribute to a beloved artist. His bright colors and evocative style are perfectly suited for a line of shoes and clothing. Apparently, the designs are so detailed, you’ll even be able to see the brush strokes.
Even better, The Van Gogh Museum will be donating a portion of the proceeds to the preservation of Vincent van Gogh’s legacy and collection of art.
The collection is available for sale on the Vans website as well as on the Van Gogh Museum website, and you can find further details here.
