Updated Live! Golden Globes 2015 Viewing Party

Settle in with your ballots, a couple of snacks, and a glass (or ten) of wine because it’s time for the Golden Globes, y’all! As all you pop culture lovers know, the Golden Globes are the sloppy, slightly embarrassing friend with a heart of gold of awards season, and that’s not just because it’s the only televised one that serves booze. It’s also the last year that the unfairly talented, wickedly funny duo of Amy Poehler and Tina Fey will be hosting. Yes, after three years, my future BFFs will retire their Globes antics in search of something new. It’s a sad day for awards show junkies, but we will persevere, pour one out for the best hosting team ever, and make sure we’re tuned in to every single silly moment.

The Globes are also a nice preview before the real deal, the Academy Awards. They’re not necessarily an indicator of who will take home the big prizes come March (the Hollywood Foreign press is hardly the Academy), but it’s still interesting to see who nabs the win (or gives a really, REALLY awkward speech).

Keep your eyes peeled right here as we live-blog the winners, and make sure you watch along with us. Not only will we be tweeting the winners from @NerdistDotCom, but I will be sharing my reactions on Twitter (@RachelHeine) as well. Let the games begin!
