TV-Cap: THE WALKING DEAD Turns Cast Vegetarian, New DOCTOR WHO Video, Plus FLASH & ARROW News

Rise and shine, TV-Cappers, it’s Monday and there’s news to be read. From the unsavory to the shocking to the super-spoilerific, we’ve got heaps for you to read about your favorite small screen stories. Including the synopsis for both Arrow and The Flash‘s November 11th episodes; the news that The Walking Dead has turned Norman Reedus vegetarian; where to see more new The Avengers: Age of Ultron clips; and a new teaser for the final season of FX’s Justified.

So go forth and prosper all ye lovers of television! Who loves ya, bubsies, more than The Nerdist? (NO ONE EXCEPt MAYBE YOUR MOM, that’s who!)

MMMMM….GRAAAAINS!: Get it, because, y’know, it sounds like brains? HA HA HA we’re so clever it’s crazy! But seriously: Norman Reedus has apparently gone on record saying that working on The Walking Dead has turned him into a bit of a vegetarian. He’s not alone, though — no one’s eating meat when sidling up to the Craft Services tent because all them Walkers munching on people stuff has thrown everyone off chicken, fish, or cow a bit. The S.H.I.E.L.D Brings Ultron: Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. will play host to some new footage from The Avengers: Age of Ultron! [The Mary Sue]

Me, You, Douglas Adams, and Doctor Who: This video about The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy author Douglas Adams’ time with Doctor Who (he was the story editor in 1979) is pretty delightful. [YouTube]

Speaking of Who: Here’s Kyle’s recap of “In The Forest of The Night.” [Nerdist]

Boom Goes The Dynamite: It’s happened, you guys! It’s finally happened: the first series of the season to get the axe was none other than ABC’s Manhattan Love Story — a show it feels very likely to assume no one on this site was watching. (Not even we were and we watch, like, everything.) Get ready for the deluge to follow in the coming days and weeks. Your show dying is the only time being “first!!1!!one!!1” isn’t the best/most important thing). Hmm I wonder what’s going to be next? [TVLine]

Win, Lose, or Justified: The final season of FX’s Justified (man oh man so many big things are ending this year, aren’t they?), is nearly upon us, and there’s — finally! — a teaser trailer, featuring Timothy Olyphant’s Raylan and Walton Goggins’ Boyd trading hats. Hey do you guys remember when Timothy Olyphant was in The First Wives’ Club and had that guest-starring role on Sex and the City as Carrie’s bisexual twentysomething fling? My how times have changed! [Entertainment Weekly]

SNL For a Good Time Call: Jim Carrey tickled Clarke’s funny bone on Saturday Night Live this week. And oh my gosh that Sia sketch. [Nerdist]

Flash and Arrow SPOILERS: We’ve got the synopses for both The CW’s Arrow and The Flash! Don’tcha wanna read ’em? They’re for the November 11th episodes of each. [BleedingCool]

KELLY FRYE GUEST STARS AS DC COMICS’ PLASTIQUE AND CLANCY BROWN GUEST STARS AS GENERAL EILING — After a bomb goes off downtown, the army, led by General Eiling (guest star Clancy Brown), rolls in and takes over the case, much to Joe’s (Jesse Martin) surprise. Suspicious, Joe tells Barry (Grant Gustin) that he and his friends at S.T.A.R. Labs should look into the army’s involvement. Wells (Tom Cavanagh) informs the team that Eiling was experimenting on his men to turn them into super soldiers. Cisco (Carlos Valdes) confirms one of Eiling’s soldiers, Bette Sans Souci (guest star Kelly Frye), was at the bomb site. The Flash tracks her down and realizes that she’s not setting off the bombs, she is a meta-human who can blow things up just by touching them. Meanwhile, when Joe learns Iris is writing about “the streak,” he tells Barry to make her stop. Barry realizes Iris won’t listen to him so he decides to have The Flash pay her a visit. 1. The vegetarianism claim comes from an article in the Daily Star, which is about as reliable as Fox News. So.. yeah..
