From the streets of Gotham City to the Scottish Highlands, we have it all in today’s TV-Cap. Jump right on in to listen to new music from the Outlander season one soundtrack, to learn about Gotham developments and watch a red band trailer for the series, to get a first look at season two of Manhattan, and much more.

An Energetic Tune. Starz hasn’t announced the premiere date for season two of Outlander yet, but it’s not debuting this fall. To get a fix, you can instead listen to the second volume of the soundtrack from the first season. It features Bear McCreary’s music from the last eight episodes of the season. Entertainment Weekly shared one of the tracks, “Charge of the Highland Cattle.” It begins with a lot of pep but settles into some moodier themes. Plus, it has all the bagpipes. You can pre-order the soundtrack at Amazon. And if you still need more Outlander, and I certainly hope that’s the case, watch our interviews with the cast from San Diego Comic-Con:

Exclusive Videos. The next seasons of Arrow and The Flash will arrive in two weeks, but the previous seasons of both shows came to Blu-ray and DVD on September 22. The extras include gag reels, deleted scenes, and more. We have two exclusive videos: one from Arrow about Ra’s al Ghul’s temple and one from The Flash with a supercut of Cisco nicknaming metahumans. Flying In. Gotham has plenty of villains and scheming gangsters to keep Jim Gordon and his co-workers busy, but the series seems to continually be pulling in new baddies. ComicBook.com spoke to Gotham executive producer Bruno Heller and asked about the Court of Owls in relation to the Galavan siblings. Heller said the Court may or may not be coming into play with the Galavans but will definitely come into the story down the line: “We are absolutely going to explore that world down the line. Looking at the longevity of the show, we have to hold some cards back, we can’t just throw all of the elements, all of the story at once. The long arc of the show is Bruce Wayne’s journey of discovery down into the depths of the physical and meta-physical world of Gotham. The Court of Owls is a brilliant conceit that will absolutely be part of our storytelling. I just won’t tell you when.” [Nerdist]

This Is Unexpected. Sometimes press releases drop into your inbox and make you do a double-take. This includes the press release I received about Mila Kunis and Rob Zombie teaming up as executive producers for a half-hour comedy horror series for Starz. Yep. Trapped, created and written by Joey Slamon, will be directed by Rob Zombie. The series “takes places over a single night in the home of a wealthy family under attack by a murderous cult.” I am so very curious.

A Magical World. The CW is developing Clive Barker’s 1987 novel Weaveworld with writer and producer Jack Kenny and Barker on board as executive producer. The fantasy novel is lengthy and full of the unusual, so The CW seems like an ideal home for it. According to Deadline, the adaptation will follow this plot: “…an app designer teams up with a young pastry chef who has just discovered that she is destined to be guardian of a mythological realm that can be accessed through a portal in an old Savannah mansion. Together, they fight an epic battle with evil forces who are vying for control of the magical world.” They had me at pastry chef. [Slashfilm]

The Maniax. Gotham’s villains are on the rise in season two — that is the tagline after all. Next week’s episode will see the arrival of The Maniax, and a red band trailer shows just how brutal things are going to get. This is where I have to admit Gotham looks like a completely different show this season. [Nerdist]

Behind-the-Scenes. The Muppets returned to primetime on Tuesday, September 22, and now that Kermit and pals are back in action, it’s a great time to sit down for a chat. The above interview goes in depth with Kermit about the series and about Kermit’s new romance, and it is so worth watching, especially for Kermit’s comment about why we all love pigs. [Variety]

Different Opinions? AMC’s The Walking Dead returns with season six on October 11. A brief — no, really, it’s only 15 seconds — clip shows Rick and Daryl might be at odds over the residents of the Alexandria Safe Zone. And the synopsis for the premiere? “Rick and the group are still having trouble assimilating into Alexandria. Will a new threat bring them closer together or drive them further apart?” Given the tone of the show, I’m going to bet it drives them apart. [Nerdist]

Is He Gone? Game of Thrones actors are going to be asked about the fate of Jon Snow from now until the next season of the HBO series. TVLine asked Maisie Williams about whether Jon Snow was really and truly dead and she confirmed, “The answer is ‘no,’ he’s dead. Sorry. And the interview that you’ve all read that think that Kit has spoiled it is fabricated and totally false.” She could of course be denying it, but my thought is he actually is dead — he’s just going to be resurrected. The Next Steps. The tension present in clips from WGNA’s Manhattan stresses me out. The show tackles an intense subject and being part of the secrecy involved in building the atomic bomb takes its toll. A first look video for season two shows how things are starting to fall apart. [TV.com]
