TV-Cap: AGENTS OF S.H.I.E.L.D. Teases Season 3 Finale with Classic Comic Book Cover

We’re not going to let Wednesday be boring this week! Make your day more interesting by catching up on the latest television news in today’s TV-Cap. We have a comic book cover re-creation to promote the season three finale of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., a look at Neil Patrick Harris as Count Olaf in A Series of Unfortunate Events, some Game of Thrones ladies singing and dancing, and more.

Impending Death. Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. is sliding into its last few episodes for the season three finale, and they’re going for the hype by promising someone is going to die in promo art. The illustration is an homage to the cover of Amazing Spider-Man #121; that’s the one hinting at the death of you-know-who. Uh-oh. The art by Greg Land will actually be available as a variant cover in comic book shops, too. It will be a rare catch for Civil War II #0. [IGN, Image: ABC]

Non-Hellish Answers. Did you watch the first season of Lucifer? If you did and if you have questions, you should read TVLine’s post mortem interview with series showrunner Joe Henderson.

New Khal. Daenerys met a different Khal in the season six premiere of Game of Thrones. Khal Moro is played by Joseph Naufahu, and the character put Dany in her place. Naufahu stopped by the set of Nerdist News to talk with Dan Casey about working in Westeros. [Nerdist]

Looking Scruffy. Neil Patrick Harris has undergone quite the transformation for his role as Count Olaf in Netflix’s adaptation of Lemony Snicket’s A Series of Unfortunate Events. The series is filming in Vancouver, and some eagle-eyed folks have caught glimpses of him on set. I think he’s looking rather spot on as the villain. [Slashfilm]

Love Advice. Fergus has joined the Fraser household in Paris in Outlander, and though he may be young, he’s wise beyond his years. ET Online has a clip from the next episode featuring Fergus and Murtagh having a heart-to-heart about women. Murtagh has so much to learn. Watch the clip at ET Online.

Death and… The Game of Thrones theme song is lovely as is, but what if there were lyrics? And what if the cast was asked to make up those lyrics? Entertainment Weekly investigated just that when they visited the set and got some fantastic responses from the women of Westeros. Gwendoline Christie’s interpretative dance is my favorite. [Nerdist]

Homage It Up. This is technically web series news, but that’s kind of like television, right? Right. If you played Nintendo’s Star Fox, you’ll probably be intrigued by Matthew Gafford’s A Fox in Space. The fan-made animated show recently debuted its first episode, and it’s better than you might be expecting. [The AV Club]

Doppelgänger Danger. Earth-2 has introduced a number of villainous doppelgängers to The Flash. The number of baddies will go up by one in next week’s episode when the Earth-2 version of Cisco’s brother Dante makes an appearance. He’s known as Rupture. See more pictures from “Rupture” at Comic Book Resources. [Image: The CW]

Flipping Backwards. Comic book television ruled Tuesday night and we have recaps covering everything you saw and everything you might have missed. You can catch up on The Flash and Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.

Who do you think will die on Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.? Share your predictions in the comments.
