The last Star Trek poster you need.  How about 235 pixelated form Star Trek characters printed on 100% cotton rag museum-quality paper using an 8-colour archival printing process?  Trexels is it’s name and you can buy one  from John Martz who designed this work of art or you can enter his contest to name all 235 characters and win one.  Better be quick, limited to 300 prints and he is only giving away 2 for the contest.  Head over to his site for the details.

  2. angiem577 says:

Whoops, just saw the Borg lumped in with TNG instead of Voyager — my bad!

  3. angiem577 says:

Lol on the tribbles beside the Klingons — it even has Cyrano Jones! XD Let’s see… oh, it has Captain Proton and Leonardo da Vinci… Who else — the Hirogen, Species 8472 and Vidiians but…no Borg? aw, shucks 🙂 Chakotay’s remarkably recognizable, more so than Captain Janeway — ooh, is that Lon Suder? And Seska I recognize by the clothes 😛

    This is SWEEEEET!

  4. RJ says:

MAN, I didn’t feel nerdy until I looked at that and recognized > 95%!

  5. Lucy says:

I…think I need this. I can’t believe there are only going to be 300 for all of nerdkind. 🙁

  6. Luneowl says:

AKA charts for some awesome cross-stitch patterns!

  7. Lisa G says:

AHAAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHH!!! He included Spot!! This is the coolest nerdy thing ever created!! It’s also a nice trip down memory lane.

  8. Kyle says:

    Dexter Remmick is my favorite.

  9. Waco says:

It’s really cool because as you look at it, and you see the familiar characters, you see the different versions of them… and then you notice other secondary characters… and then you notice a couple of more random recurring characters… The picture really sucks you in. I didn’t recognize many a first, but as you look at it, the shapes really start to form and your mind puts it all together. That naming contest is pretty cool, and when I first looked at this, I thought no fucking way would I know this. And then after staring at it, I’m thinking I know most of these. But I know there will be some hardcore trekkies who know them all.

I also like that the characters are ordered chronologically by appearance, from the original series, to the first series’ movies, then to the more recent incarnations.

  10. Jess says:

I LOVE this! The combination of main characters, different incarnations through the movies and series, and iconic characters from single episodes makes my heart happy.

    Darmok… and Jalad…. at Tanagra!

  11. A.J. says:

The fact that so many characters are easily recognizable is amazing to me. I guess I haven’t seen enough to recognize everyone.

    This is way freaking cool.

  12. Brandon says:

Wes Crusher has to be my favorite representation on there. The look on his little pixelated face is priceless.

  13. animegoddess says:

They kinda look like the new members of The Terrance and Philip Show of South Park…

    Yet, still awesome…

  14. Wade says:

That is both the most hilarious and the most cool thing I’ve seen all week. There are some old school characters in that hot mess. Awesome.
