On the heels of the epic Super Bowl TV spot for Transformers: Age Of Extinction comes this first look at the massive online tactical action game, Transformers Universe. IGN just released the first trailer, so feel free to have a look at the metal-clashing action below:

As with anything that rest within the world of Transformers, the game will be centered around the war between the Autobots and Decepticons. Players will command a squad of unique Transformers, created by the game’s developers Jagex and Hasbro, and team up or fight with other commanders depending on your faction alliance. There will also be special appearances from legendary Transformers, good and evil, as you battle within the universe.

This almost sounds like Star Wars: Battlefront, but with the Transformers and within a massive playing environment. The game will release sometime in Q3 of this year and as of now, the PC is the only platform it’s been announced for.
