Trailer Premiere: Fran Kranz Thinks Pedro Pascal is a BLOODSUCKING BASTARD

In a fast-paced, cutthroat job market, it can seem like only the most ruthless get ahead. You can be perfect for a promotion, and even think it’s on the table, but then get snaked by some outside hire and you’re left standing there with your dreams in your hand and hatred in your heart. And MAYBE you want to stab that person with a piece of wood. Well, if they’re a vampire, that won’t be much of a problem, which is exactly what happens in Bloodsucking Bastards.

Genre favorite Fran Kranz plays a working stiff who gets passed over for a big promotion because the company hired the flashy, handsome big talker played by Game of Thrones‘ favorite guy who talks too much before killing people, Pedro Pascal. He hates that guy, but at least he has the moral high-ground once it’s discovered that the new guy is indeed an undead heathen, and he’s turning the workforce one by one into creatures of the night. What’s an overworked paper-pusher to do?

The film co-stars Joel Murray (Mad Men), Yvette Yates (Inherent Vice) Joey Kern (Super Troopers) and Emma Fitzpatrick (The Collection). The movie was written by the comedy Team Dr. God. A staple of the Hollywood improv scene. It was produced by Fortress Features and Maybe This Year Productions. It’s premiering this month, January 23, 2015 at the Slamdance Film Festival. Check out the film’s Facebook page for more information. And keep sharpened office supplies with you at all times.
