Toy Fair: The Walking Dead Toys Have Many Heads And Are Awesome

Walking through Toy Fair makes you immune to all but the cutest and coolest things you can find. It’s nearly a childhood dream come true: aisle after aisle of the neatest toys you can imagine. You are encouraged, for the most part, to pick things up and play with them. So when I wandered down the aisles this morning and stumbled across McFarlane Toys, it wasn’t the name of the booth, but the elaborate prison yard set up from The Walking Dead that had me beelining to check it out.

McFarlane Toys licenses both the AMC show and the original comic books. This year they will release a slew of incredible new toys to get any walker fan excited. There’s an entire prison yard set up which you can see in the gallery below. Michonne gets her own deluxe statue, and it looks as bad ass as her character. The comic book representation of Carl Grimes is included and he comes with [SPOILER] multiple heads that are interchangeable for full effect. His TV counterpart comes with a can of pudding for the show fans among us. Speaking of multiple heads, the Governor is also available at various levels of one-eyedness. Hershel Greene is also there, but I’m still too traumatized from seeing his head options to talk about them. Rick Grimes is in full his sheriff uniform, complete with a walkie talkie that will also be released in a Walgreen’s exclusive later in 2015. Fear not, Daryl fanatics: Mr. Dixon will join the Survivor Editions of figurines in May.

Whether you’re collecting or playing with these toys, there’s something for everyone. Sets from Dale and his RV, to the Governor and his creepy head-filled office are available, and we got the low down on what’s coming out this October in the action figure line. We want them all.

Could you see this toy set sitting somewhere in your home? Let us know in the comments below.
