Now that we’re bereft of new Doctor Who for a few months, it’s time we turn our focus to the much-anticipated Torchwood: Miracle Day. Last week, Starz released a number of short videos featuring the lead characters of the series talking about the phenomenon and how they are a part of it. It’s a good way to meet old and new characters alike. Each of the six videos was leaked to a different news or entertainment outlet, but now they’ve packaged them all in a single tidy video for us all to peep. Right now.
Let’s hope the actual show isn’t as arch and over-acted as these promo videos. BARROWMAAAAAAAAANNNNN!!!!!

Too many Americans. I don’t watch British shows to watch more Americans. I love all things Doctor Who and stemming from Doctor Who, so I will watch, probably many times.

Looks like another Torchwood: Children of Earth where I’m gonna curl up in a ball and cry when its over.
I haven’t seen Torchwood in awhile but I’ve been convinced to give it another go.
oh why couldn’t Miracle Day have happened for Ianto? or Toshiko or Owen… i just hope the hop across the pond doesn’t ruin TW. i think RTD & JG are still in charge of it. glad Capt. Jack is back with Gwen and Rhys. i guess PC Andy won’t being following, though; will miss his “is this one of your spooky dos?”
Hmm… weird group of promos. The only ones well acted were Bill Pullman’s and Eve Myles’ IMO But they’re just promos. I’m sure the show won’t be so schmaltzy. (Although this is Torchwood – I’ve come to expect a healthy dose of cheese in each episode – and I love it)
