TOKYOPOP: Cosplay Friday #9

Nothing like the smell of fresh cosplay in the morning! Hot glue, foam rubber and newly sanded wooden swords of varying shapes and sizes. Actually, I don’t have a sense of smell, but I do have pretty excellent vision, so let’s agree to disagree and celebrate with TOKYOPOP’s Cosplay Friday, your one stop shop for the best cosplay around the web this week. This week is special because it’s part of our monthly interview series in the TOKYOPOP newsletter, so we’ll be shining an extra bright light on WindoftheStars Cosplay and her costumed capers. Does she seem familiar? You may remember her as the winner of Just Cos’ San Diego Comic-Con Costume Contest for her seriously rad Ame-Comi Duela Dent. Guess who’s laughing now?

The only thing missing from WindoftheStars’ Cammy cosplay is audio of her saying “You must enjoy being beat. Let me remodel your face one more time!”

Oh, Lina Inverse, how we’ve missed you. There’s never enough Slayers cosplay to go around, so our hats are off to you, WindoftheStars.

Sweet buttery Moses! How did she manage to cosplay cel-shading? We don’t know, but this sultry siren (Lilith from Borderlands) is ready for some serious skag huntin’.

Bloody hell! Literally. Witchiko may just be the scariest Yuno Gasai (Mirai Nikki) we’ve ever seen.

Blondes have more fun, especially when they’re rocking a Olivier Mira Armstrong (Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood) cosplay like this one.

A globe-spanning war takes a lot out of you, so why not relax on the beach with the Avatar gang?

I instinctively started mashing all the keys on this keyboard once I saw this terrific BlazBlue cosplay. Pavlov trained me well.

Here’s lookin’ at you, Mid. This Midna (Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess) cosplay is hauntingly beautiful.

I sincerely hope that this Corpse Bride cosplayer isn’t dead because she’s killin’ it. Whatever, it sounded better in my head.

Okay, this K-On! group is too cute for its own good. Seriously, guys, just stop it. Guys. What are you doing? GUYS. STAHP!

Nevermind, apparently the Nerdist site didn’t want to list that with the rest of the Cosplay category.
